Irina

She is a dancer and I have painted her twice before, once in pastel and more recently in acrylics, in ballet poses. She does make an excellent life model too. I use French Sennelier artist’s soft pastels on their own special card which is nice and abrasive so holds the medium well.

This painting was the winner of the on line art competition – Nude Yet Not Vulgar – May 2015
